How much will my tattoo cost?
PLEASE NOTE AS OF JANUARY 3 2023 our prices will change hourly rate - will change from £80 an hour to £90 an hour minimum rate- will change from £40 to £50 tattoos approximately 8”x8” or less will be priced individually. Each of our tattoos are unique, individual pieces of artwork that reflect the interests and desires of our clients. This means it’s often difficult to provide a price with any certainty until we have fully discussed your ideas. Once we’ve had a discussion about your needs and settled on a design we will provide a final price range for your tattoo. Of course, we do realise that many clients will want to have an idea of price before coming into the studio, and because of this we provide a very rough guide to our pricing below. To book your tattoo appointment you will need to pay a booking fee that is equivalent to one hour's tattoo time or half the total cost for smaller one sitting tattoos, booking fee is deducted from the last hour of last tattoo session and ensures that your appointment slot is reserved for you. It is refundable should you choose to cancel giving us 48 hours notice. Already to do so will result in losing the booking fee if the appointment is missed by the client. We will not begin any design work beyond the initial free consultation without a booking fee being paid. Tattoos quoted at under £120 will require a 50% booking fee. Tattoos quoted over £120 will require a £90 booking fee. Booking fees are deducted from the cost of the finished tattoo please note all booking fees are non refundable with less than 72 hours notice via email of cancellation. We may choose to waive this in exceptional circumstances at the artists discretion. booking fees can be paid via bank transfer or cash , to be arranged via email or in person with the artist directly. PayPal and card payment will incur a £5 supplemental fee every time so we prefer not to use those. Tattoos that take less than 3 hours: Tattoos that we predict will take less than 3 hours may be charged within a set price range, quoted specifically for that exact piece. The minimum charge for any tattoo is £40 this charge covers the set up costs and the tattoo itself. This will change to £50 as of 3 January 2023 all tattoos booked before 3 January 2023 and all those started before the increase in rate will be honoured at the old rate until completion as long as no longer than one year remains between the last appointment and the new one. |
Tattoos that take more than 3 hours: Tattoos that take longer than 3 hours are charged at an hourly rate of £90per hour. The length of time it takes to complete a tattoo (and therefore the price) varies with size, style, design complexity and the area of the body to be tattooed. Flat, stable areas such as forearms, thighs and calves are usually relatively quick to tattoo compared to trickier areas such as the ribs, sternum, abdomen and neck which take longer to tattoo and are therefore usually more expensive. |
